We are happy to report to you that Ichupampa is rising from the rubble left by an earthquake in August 2016. Water and sewer lines are restored and a temporary schoolhouse will be in service when school resumes in March.

Thanks to you, the Sister Antonia Memorial Kitchen in Ichupampa is nearing completion. The Quechua Benefit team was onsite last week, and the building will be up and running no later than March 15th.

The entire community sends you their love and thanks for the tremendous generosity that the worldwide Quechua Benefit community poured out in the face of their tragedy. Quechua Benefit donors from eight countries contributed to the reconstruction effort, paid for warm blankets, and donated one ton of food.

We will return in April for the official inauguration of the facility as well as the first 2017 preventative medicine campaign through our Healthy Communities initiative.

None of this would be possible without your donations and willingness to help people in their time of need.
